Hot forming technology of high strength steel plate

For example, after cooling and quenching in the mold, the strength of the stamping parts can reach 1500 MPa, and the strength has been increased by more than 250%. Therefore, this technology is also called "stamping hardening" technology. In actual production, hot stamping process can be divided into two types, namely direct process and indirect process. After blanking, the steel plate is directly heated and then stamped. It is mainly used for workpieces with simple shape and little deformation. For some workpieces with complex shapes or large drawing depth, an indirect process is required, which first pre deforms the cut steel plate, and then heats it for hot stamping. The selection of hot forming steel is an important link to ensure the performance of hot forming parts. It is generally believed that deep drawing formability depends on the Lankford value of steel plate plastic strain change; Bulging formability depends on the ductility of steel plate; The formability of the extended flange depends on the local deformation energy and microstructure uniformity of the steel plate. B plays an important role in homogenizing the microstructures that govern the formability of extended flanges and bending formability, so F+B and B single microstructures are always used; In order to achieve the goal of high intensity, low carbon M is also used. The principle of 22MnB5 steel in martensitic steel is consistent with this. It is a typical hot stamping material steel. It uses titanium and boron microalloying method to obtain high formability and extremely high strength through rapid cooling after hot forming. At present, hot formed MnB steel plates have been used by major automobile manufacturers in Europe, America and Japan. For example, the new Golf V6 has five parts made of MnB steel, and the latest sixth generation PASSAT has nine such parts. Figure 5 shows the CCT (continuous cooling transformation) curve of boron containing steel for hot stamping developed by Baosteel. After heating and insulation of single-phase austenite zone at about 950 ℃, when the cooling rate is greater than 15 ℃/s, the structure of the steel plate will be transformed into full martensite, with hardness of HV450-500 and strength of 1300-1500MPa.

The crushing performance (low intrusion after collision) of hot formed parts determines that they are very suitable for safety parts. The processing of hot formed parts usually requires laser cutting, punching holes, spot welding, cold forming, assembly, painting and other processes, so there is a lot of testing for hot formed parts. First of all, mechanical property testing, shape testing, thickness distribution testing and introduced internal stress testing should be carried out for hot formed parts, and different methods should be used to test the physical property according to different requirements of different parts. For a qualified hot formed part, it shall meet the requirements of high strength, lightweight and safety, and shall also have good strength and toughness combination, dimensional stability, machinability (geometric dimensional stability), weldability, fatigue resistance, etc.
