Shipbuilding steel plates are high-strength corrosion resistant steel plates produced by steel mills specially for shipbuilding. Even ordinary ship steel plate has better corrosion resistance, flexibility, impurity content and other indicators than ordinary land construction steel plate.
CCS commonly recommends marine Grade A steel plate, that is, the past Grade A steel plate, Q235-A. Note that it is marine.
