Products Description

The structure of the tray is designed with a unique suspended anti vortex downcomer, and the mass transfer elements on the tray can be sieve holes, float valves, and fixed valves. It has the following four major characteristics:

(1) Due to the use of a downcomer with a shape similar to that of a cyclone separator, it is beneficial to separate the gas-liquid mixture entering the downcomer. Because the gas rises through the riser, it can avoid the occurrence of flooding in the downcomer;

(2) The suspended downcomer structure can maximize the effective bubble area on the tray;

(3) The weir length of the downcomer is increased, resulting in a decrease in liquid flow intensity, tray pressure drop, and downcomer liquid holding capacity, improving the processing capacity and operating flexibility of the tower equipment;

(4) Due to the optimization of the position of the downcomer, the uniformity of the two-phase flow is improved as much as possible, thereby improving the mass transfer efficiency.

The main disadvantages of VORTEX TRAY are that it requires a relatively stable feed rate and a relatively complex tray structure.
