ADV differential float valve tray is a new generation of float valve tray jointly developed by Tsinghua Zehua Company and AMT Company of the United States. It is developed on the basis of F1 float valve tray. Compared with the traditional F1 float valve tray, the tower has undergone a series of improvements in terms of float valve structure and downcomer structure:

① The differential float valve opens a small valve hole at the top of the valve, making full use of the mass transfer space at the upper part of the float valve, making the gas dispersion more dense and uniform, and making vapor liquid contact more sufficient.

② The ADV differential float valve with guiding function is locally used to eliminate liquid retention on the tray and improve the uniformity of vapor liquid distribution.

③ A bubble promoter is used to uniformly bubble the entire tray and reduce the liquid level gradient, thereby improving mass transfer efficiency.

④ Properly improve the downcomer to increase the area of the bubbling zone.

⑤ The valve leg adopts a new structural design, which makes the installation of the float valve fast and convenient, and the operation is not easy to rotate or fall off.

This type of tray has been improved in terms of mass transfer efficiency and leakage, which is equivalent to the guided float valve tray; The entrainment of mist is similar to F1 at medium and low speed empty tower gas velocities; The operating flexibility is not very high, slightly lower than the SuperV tray, but the pressure drop is equivalent to F1.
